Sergei Zubov (full name: Sergei Zubov; no nicknames) played defenseman from 1993 until 2009 for the New York Rangers, Pittsburgh Penguins and Dallas Stars. He played for the Rangers from 1993 - 1995, Penguins in 1996 and Stars from 1997 - 2009. Over 16 seasons, he played 1068 games, scored 152 goals, and made 619 assists. Born in Moscow, Union of Soviet Socialist Republics on July 22, 1970, Zubov stands 6-1 and weighs 198 lbs. He was drafted by the New York Rangers in the 5th round (85th overall) of the 1990 NHL Entry Draft.
