Scott Thornton (full name: Scott Thornton; no nicknames) played left wing from 1991 until 2008 for the Toronto Maple Leafs, Edmonton Oilers, Montreal Canadiens, Dallas Stars, San Jose Sharks and Los Angeles Kings. He played for the Leafs in 1991, Oilers from 1992 - 1996, Canadies from 1997 - 2000, Stars in 2000, Sharks from 2001 - 2006 and Kings from 2007 - 2008. Over 17 seasons, he played 941 games, scored 144 goals, and made 141 assists. Born in London, Ontario on January 9, 1971, Thornton stands 6-3 and weighs 220 lbs. He was drafted by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 1st round (3rd overall) of the 1989 NHL Entry Draft.
