Sandy McCarthy (full name: Sandy McCarthy; no nicknames) played right wing from 1994 until 2004 for the Calgary Flames, Tampa Bay Lightning, Philadelphia Flyers, Carolina Hurricanes, New York Rangers and Boston Bruins. He played for the Flames from 1994 - 1998, Lightning from 1998 - 1999, Flyers from 1999 - 2000, Hurricanes in 2000, Rangers from 2001 - 2004 and Bruins in 2004. Over 11 seasons, he played 736 games, scored 72 goals, and made 76 assists. Born in Toronto, Ontario on June 15, 1972, McCarthy stands 6-3 and weighs 222 lbs. He was drafted by the Calgary Flames in the 3rd round (52nd overall) of the 1991 NHL Entry Draft.
