Sandy Amoros (full name: Edmundo (Isasi) Amoros; no nicknames) played leftfielder from 1952 until 1960 for the Brooklyn Dodgers, Los Angeles Dodgers and Detroit Tigers. He played for the Dodgers from 1952 - 1957, Dodgers from 1959 - 1960 and Tigers in 1960. Over 7 seasons, he played 517 games, hit 43 home runs, drove in 215 runs, and stole 18 bases. Born on January 30, 1930 in Havana, Cuba, Amoros stood 5' 7" and weighed 170 lb. He attended high school. His debut was on August 22, 1952 and he played his final game on October 2, 1960.
