Samaki Walker (full name: Samaki Ijuma Walker; no nicknames) played Forward from 1997 until 2006 for the Dallas Mavericks, San Antonio Spurs, Los Angeles Lakers, Miami Heat, Washington Wizards and Indiana Pacers. Over 10 seasons, he played 445 games, scored 2376 points (5.3 ppg) and grabbed 2089 rebounds (4.7 rpg). Walker also dished out 252 assists (0.6 apg), made 134 steals (0.3 spg), and blocked 316 shots (0.7 bpg) during his career. Born in Columbus, Ohio on February 25, 1976, Walker stands 6-9 and weighs 240 lbs. He attended high school at Whitehall in Columbus, Ohio and college at University of Louisville. He was drafted by the Dallas Mavericks in the 1st round (9th pick, 9th overall) of the 1996 NBA draft.
