Sam Cassell (full name: Samuel James Cassell; Sam) played Guard from 1994 until 2008 for the Houston Rockets, Phoenix Suns, Dallas Mavericks, New Jersey Nets, Milwaukee Bucks, Minnesota Timberwolves, Los Angeles Clippers and Boston Celtics. Over 15 seasons, he played 993 games, scored 15635 points (15.7 ppg) and grabbed 3221 rebounds (3.2 rpg). Cassell also dished out 5939 assists (6.0 apg), made 1058 steals (1.1 spg), and blocked 163 shots (0.2 bpg) during his career. Born in Baltimore, Maryland on November 18, 1969, Cassell stands 6-3 and weighs 185 lbs. He attended high school at Paul Laurence Dunbar in Baltimore, Maryland and college at Florida State University. He was drafted by the Houston Rockets in the 1st round (24th pick, 24th overall) of the 1993 NBA draft.
