Ryan Walter (full name: Ryan Walter; no nicknames) played center/left wing from 1979 until 1993 for the Washington Capitals, Montreal Canadiens and Vancouver Canucks. He played for the Capitals from 1979 - 1982, Canadies from 1983 - 1991 and Canucks from 1992 - 1993. Over 15 seasons, he played 1003 games, scored 264 goals, and made 382 assists. Born in New Westminster, British Columbia on April 23, 1958, Walter stands 6-0 and weighs 200 lbs. He was drafted by the Washington Capitals in the 1st round (2nd overall) of the 1978 NHL Amateur Draft.
