Ryan VandenBussche (full name: Ryan VandenBussche; no nicknames) played right wing from 1997 until 2006 for the New York Rangers, Chicago Blackhawks and Pittsburgh Penguins. He played for the Rangers from 1997 - 1998, Blackhawks from 1998 - 2004 and Penguins in 2006. Over 9 seasons, he played 310 games, scored 10 goals, and made 10 assists. Born in Simcoe, Ontario on February 28, 1973, VandenBussche stands 6-0 and weighs 200 lbs. He was drafted by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 8th round (173rd overall) of the 1992 NHL Entry Draft. VandenBussche officially announced retirement on January 17, 2007.
