Ruppert Jones (full name: Ruppert Sanderson Jones; Rupe) played centerfielder from 1976 until 1987 for the Kansas City Royals, Seattle Mariners, New York Yankees, San Diego Padres, Detroit Tigers and California Angels. He played for the Royals in 1976, Mariners from 1977 - 1979, Yankees in 1980, Padres from 1981 - 1983, Tigers in 1984 and Angels from 1985 - 1987.
