Rumeal Robinson is a retired American professional basketball player in the National Basketball Association. He hails from Mandeville, Jamaica and grew up in Cambridge, Massachusetts and graduated from Cambridge Rindge and Latin school for his high school education. Robinson went to the University of Michigan to take his college schooling where he played college basketball for three years. Robinson played as point guard for several teams in the league; the Atlanta Hawks, New Jersey Nets, Charlotte Hornets, Portland Trail Blazers, Phoenix Suns and the Los Angeles Lakers. Aside from his NBA career, Robinson also joined the KK Zadar, a Croatian professional basketball team, after his release from the Lakers.
Robinson was listed at the height of 6 ft. 2 in. and weighs 195 lbs. He began his professional career in the National Basketball Association after being drafted by the Atlanta Hawks in the 1990 NBA Draft after which he signed a deal for an undisclosed amount with the Hawks, according to sources. After his three seasons with the Hawks, Robinson went on to join several other teams in the league, namely; the Nets, Hornets, Trail Blazers, Suns and Lakers. After his two seasons with the Lakers, Robinson played in the 2001-02 seasons of the European League for the KK Zadar.

Born in Mandeville, Jamaica on November 13, 1966, Robinson stands 6-2 and weighs 195 lbs. He attended high school at Rindge & Latin in Cambridge, Massachusetts and college at University of Michigan. He was drafted by the Atlanta Hawks in the 1st round (10th pick, 10th overall) of the 1990 NBA draft.
