Roy Parmelee (full name: Leroy Earl Parmelee; Bud and Tarzan) played pitcher from 1932 until 1939 for the New York Giants, St. Louis Cardinals, Chicago Cubs and Philadelphia Athletics. He played for the Giants from 1932 - 1935, Cardinals in 1936, Cubs in 1937 and Athletics in 1939. Over 10 seasons, he started 145 games, won 59 games, struck out 514 batters, and had a 4.27 ERA. Born on April 25, 1907 in Lambertville, MI, Parmelee stood 6' 1" and weighed 190 lb. He attended high school. His debut was on September 28, 1929 and he played his final game on June 10, 1939.
