Ronald Price is a National Basketball Association player who hails from Friendswood, Texas. He was born as Ronald D’Wayne Price on June 21, 1983 and attended the Clear Brook High School where he played high school basketball. He was considered as small for the team but still managed to impress many with his determination on the court. He went on to have his college basketball career at Nicholls State University. He started increasing in height after his first year in the said university and made an 11.3 PPG average. After a few seasons in the Nicholls University, he transferred to Utah Valley State. In the said school, he made 15.3 PPG average and was named to the Honorable Mention in the second year of his college career. He had a very impressive senior year as he logged 24.3 PPG and was given the Independent Player of the Year Award in Division I.
He signed his very first NBA deal with the Sacramento Kings and also joined the Utah Jazz. He also played for the team in the 2008 playoffs. He is one of the few players who entered the National Basketball Association without being drafted. Currently, he is still part of the Jazz. As of the 2010 season, he appeared in 260 games in the National Basketball Association.
