Rondell Bernard White plays as an outfielder and designated hitter for the Major League Baseball. He is from Milledgeville, Georgia and attended Jones County High School. During his high school years, he played baseball and basketball and was named as the Atlanta Journal- Constitution Player of the Year in 1990.

 

White was drafted by the Montreal Expos in the 1st round of the 1990 draft as the 24th overall pick. He signed with them on June 8, 1990 and made his first appearance in a game on September 1, 1993 against the Colorado Rockies. The Expos won the game and White continued to provide them with great assistance. He stayed with the Expos until 2000. He then played for the Chicago Cubs, New York Yankees, San Diego Padres, Kansas City Royals, Detroit Tigers, and the Minnesota Twins. He last appeared in game with the Twins on September 30, 2007 against the Boston Red Sox which the Twins won. White was named to the All- Star selection in 2003. Overall, White’s batting average is .284 and has a record of 198 home runs and 768 runs batted in. He also has a .462 slugging percentage.

Over 15 seasons, he played 1474 games, hit 198 home runs, drove in 756 runs, and stole 94 bases. Born on February 23, 1972 in Milledgeville, GA, White stands 6' 1" and weighs 193 lb.
