About Ron Stern:
Ron Stern (full name: Ron Stern; no nicknames) played right wing from 1988 until 2000 for the Vancouver Canucks, Calgary Flames and San Jose Sharks. He played for the Canucks from 1988 - 1991, Flames from 1991 - 1997 and Sharks from 1999 - 2000. Over 12 seasons, he played 638 games, scored 75 goals, and made 86 assists. Born in Ste-Agathe, Quebec on January 11, 1967, Stern stands 6-0 and weighs 200 lbs. He was drafted by the Vancouver Canucks in the 4th round (70th overall) of the 1986 NHL Entry Draft. Stern officially announced retirement on September 22, 2000.
