Ron Schueler (full name: Ronald Richard Schueler; no nicknames) played pitcher from 1972 until 1979 for the Atlanta Braves, Philadelphia Phillies, Minnesota Twins and Chicago White Sox. He played for the Braves from 1972 - 1973, Phillies from 1974 - 1976, Twins in 1977 and White Sox from 1978 - 1979. Over 8 seasons, he started 86 games, won 40 games, struck out 563 batters, and had a 4.08 ERA. Born on April 14, 1948 in Catherine, KS, Schueler stands 6' 4" and weighs 205 lb. He attended Hayes (Catherine, KS) high school and was drafted by the Atlanta Braves in the 3rd round of the 1967 amateur draft (January Secondary). Player signed February 3, 1967.
