He played for the Pirates from 1952 - 1969, Cardinals in 1960, Tigers from 1961 - 1962, Angels in 1961, Senators from 1963 - 1966, Twins in 1967, Red Sox in 1969, Giants in 1969 and Braves in 1970. Over 17 seasons, he started 203 games, won 114 games, struck out 989 batters, and had a 3.75 ERA. Born on March 9, 1932 in Callery, PA, Kline stood 6' 3" and weighed 205 lb. He attended Callery (Callery, PA) high school. His debut was on April 21, 1952 and he played his final game on June 13, 1970. Over his career, Kline made $138,000.
