Ron Duguay is also a coach who was able to play 12 seasons in the National Hockey League. He had worked as a coach in the minor league for four seasons. Duguay was born on July 6, 1957 in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada.
He was first drafted by the New York Rangers in the National Hockey League Amateur Draft in 1977. Duguay was the team’s 13th overall pick. He was able to play in 864 National Hockey League games where he scored 274 goals and 346 assists all for 620 points. Duguay had his best offensive season during the 1984-85 season where he played for the Detroit Red Wings. It was in that season where he was able to record 38 goals and 89 points.
