Roger Freed (full name: Roger Vernon Freed; no nicknames) played rightfielder, pinch hitter and first baseman from 1970 until 1979 for the Baltimore Orioles, Philadelphia Phillies, Cincinnati Reds, Montreal Expos and St. Louis Cardinals. He played for the Orioles in 1970, Phillies from 1971 - 1972, Reds in 1974, Expos in 1976 and Cardinals from 1977 - 1979. Over 8 seasons, he played 344 games, hit 22 home runs, drove in 49 runs, and stole 1 bases. Born on June 2, 1946 in Los Angeles, CA, Freed stood 6' 0" and weighed 190 lb.
