Rodney McCray (full name: Rodney Earl McCray; no nicknames) played Forward-Guard from 1984 until 1993 for the Houston Rockets, Sacramento Kings, Dallas Mavericks and Chicago Bulls. Over 10 seasons, he played 768 games, scored 9014 points (11.7 ppg) and grabbed 5087 rebounds (6.6 rpg). McCray also dished out 2750 assists (3.6 apg), made 585 steals (0.8 spg), and blocked 493 shots (0.6 bpg) during his career. Born in Mount Vernon, New York on August 29, 1961, McCray stands 6-7 and weighs 220 lbs. He attended high school at Mount Vernon in Mount Vernon, New York and college at University of Louisville. He was drafted by the Houston Rockets in the 1st round (3rd pick, 3rd overall) of the 1983 NBA draft.
