Rod Strickland (full name: Rodney Strickland; Rod, Hot Rod) played Guard from 1989 until 2005 for the New York Knickerbockers, San Antonio Spurs, Portland Trail Blazers, Washington Bullets, Washington Wizards, Miami Heat, Minnesota Timberwolves, Orlando Magic, Toronto Raptors and Houston Rockets. Over 17 seasons, he played 1094 games, scored 14463 points (13.2 ppg) and grabbed 4084 rebounds (3.7 rpg). Strickland also dished out 7987 assists (7.3 apg), made 1616 steals (1.5 spg), and blocked 215 shots (0.2 bpg) during his career. Born in Bronx, New York on July 11, 1966, Strickland stands 6-3 and weighs 175 lbs. He attended high school at Oak Hill Academy in Mouth of Wilson, Virginia and college at DePaul University.
