Rod Scurry (full name: Rodney Grant Scurry; no nicknames) played pitcher from 1980 until 1988 for the Pittsburgh Pirates, New York Yankees and Seattle Mariners. He played for the Pirates from 1980 - 1985, Yankees from 1985 - 1986 and Mariners in 1988. Over 8 seasons, he started 7 games, won 19 games, struck out 431 batters, and had a 3.24 ERA. Born on March 17, 1956 in Sacramento, CA, Scurry stood 6' 2" and weighed 180 lb.
