Rocky Bridges (full name: Everett Lamar Bridges; no nicknames) played shortstop, second baseman and third baseman from 1951 until 1961 for the Brooklyn Dodgers, Cincinnati Reds, Cincinnati Redlegs, Washington Senators, Detroit Tigers, St. Louis Cardinals, Cleveland Indians and Los Angeles Angels. He played for the Dodgers from 1951 - 1952, Reds from 1953 - 1955, Redlegs from 1956 - 1957, Senators from 1957 - 1958, Tigers from 1959 - 1960, Cardinals in 1960, Indians in 1960 and Angels in 1961. Over 11 seasons, he played 919 games, hit 16 home runs, drove in 245 runs, and stole 10 bases. Born on August 7, 1927 in Refugio, TX, Bridges stands 5' 8" and weighs 170 lb. He attended Polytechnic (Long Beach, CA) high school. His debut was on April 17, 1951 and he played his final game on October 1, 1961.
