Born in Santurce, Puerto Rico in the year 1929, May 29, Roberto Enrique Vargas Velez or simply Roberto Vargas made his name in the field of baseball when he was in his twenty-five years of age. He was a baseball pitcher who played for only one season in twenty-five games for the team of the Milwaukee Braves which was known before as Boston Braves and now; he is playing with the Atlanta Braves because he moved to Atlanta, Georgia. . Vargas didn’t play for the minor and instead went straight to the major league baseball.

 

He was part of the Milwaukee team when he started his grown career on April 17, 1955. Other players that he played against or with are Brooks Robinson, Roberto Clemente, Ken Boyer, Clete Boyer, Rocky Colavito, Elston Howard, Sandy Koufax, Jim Bunning, and Bill Virdon. His height is 5’11 and had a weight of 170 lbs. He batted left and threw left as well. He had 13 strikeouts before he last appeared for his team, the Milwaukee Braves on September 21, 1955. For now, he is already eighty-one years of age and he stays at his home town.
