Robert Werdann is a former American professional basketball player and is currently an assistant coach to the New Orleans Hornets of the National Basketball Association. He was born on September 12, 1970 in Sunnyside, New York and graduated in 1988 from the academic and athletic powerhouse Archbishop Molloy High School in Queens, New York. He took his college education when he attended St. John's University where he also played college basketball. During his junior year at the university, Werdann was part of the All Big East third team

Throughout his entire NBA career, Werdann participated in forty seven games and scored a total of a hundred and one career points.
