Robert Reid (full name: Robert Keith Reid; no nicknames) played Forward-Guard from 1978 until 1991 for the Houston Rockets, Charlotte Hornets, Portland Trail Blazers and Philadelphia 76ers. Over 13 seasons, he played 919 games, scored 10448 points (11.4 ppg) and grabbed 4168 rebounds (4.5 rpg). Reid also dished out 2500 assists (2.7 apg), made 973 steals (1.1 spg), and blocked 403 shots (0.4 bpg) during his career. Born in Atlanta, Georgia on August 30, 1955, Reid stands 6-8 and weighs 205 lbs. He attended high school at Samuel Clemens in Schertz, Texas and college at St. Mary's University. He was drafted by the Houston Rockets in the 2nd round (18th pick, 40th overall) of the 1977 NBA draft.
