Robert Picard (full name: Robert Picard; no nicknames) played defenseman from 1978 until 1990 for the Washington Capitals, Toronto Maple Leafs, Montreal Canadiens, Winnipeg Jets, Quebec Nordiques and Detroit Red Wings. He played for the Capitals from 1978 - 1980, Leafs in 1981, Canadies from 1981 - 1984, Jets from 1984 - 1986, Nordiques from 1986 - 1990 and Red Wings in 1990. Over 13 seasons, he played 899 games, scored 104 goals, and made 319 assists. Born in Montreal, Quebec on May 25, 1957, Picard stands 6-2 and weighs 207 lbs. He was drafted by the Washington Capitals in the 1st round (3rd overall) of the 1977 NHL Amateur Draft.
