Rob Zettler (full name: Rob Zettler; no nicknames) played defenseman from 1989 until 2002 for the Minnesota North Stars, San Jose Sharks, Philadelphia Flyers, Toronto Maple Leafs, Nashville Predators and Washington Capitals. He played for the North Stars from 1989 - 1991, Sharks from 1992 - 1994, Flyers from 1994 - 1995, Leafs from 1996 - 1998, Predators in 1999 and Capitals from 2000 - 2002. Over 14 seasons, he played 569 games, scored 5 goals, and made 65 assists. Born in Sept-Iles, Quebec on March 8, 1968, Zettler stands 6-3 and weighs 200 lbs. He was drafted by the Minnesota North Stars in the 3rd round (55th overall) of the 1986 NHL Entry Draft. Zettler officially announced retirement on August 27, 2002.
