Rik Smits (full name: Rik Smits; The Dunking Dutchman) played Center from 1989 until 2000 for the Indiana Pacers. Over 12 seasons, he played 867 games, scored 12871 points (14.8 ppg) and grabbed 5277 rebounds (6.1 rpg). Smits also dished out 1215 assists (1.4 apg), made 372 steals (0.4 spg), and blocked 1111 shots (1.3 bpg) during his career. Born in Eindhoven, Netherlands on August 23, 1966, Smits stands 7-4 and weighs 250 lbs. He attended high school at Almonta in Eindhoven, Netherlands and college at Marist College. He was drafted by the Indiana Pacers in the 1st round (2nd pick, 2nd overall) of the 1988 NBA draft.
