Rico Fata (full name: Rico Fata; no nicknames) played right wing from 1999 until 2007 for the Calgary Flames, New York Rangers, Pittsburgh Penguins, Atlanta Thrashers and Washington Capitals. He played for the Flames from 1999 - 2001, Rangers from 2002 - 2003, Penguins from 2003 - 2006, Thrashers in 2006 and Capitals from 2006 - 2007. Over 8 seasons, he played 230 games, scored 27 goals, and made 36 assists. Born in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario on February 12, 1980, Fata stands 6-0 and weighs 205 lbs. He was drafted by the Calgary Flames in the 1st round (6th overall) of the 1998 NHL Entry Draft.
