San Francisco 49ers in1991 NFL Draft and played for 10 seasons. But for the 1991 season, he was sat out because of injuries. After a year, he started the season as a running back. In a game against the New York Giants in the 1994 divisional playoff, Ricky Watters was able to post 5 rushing touchdowns. After playing for the San Francisco 49ers, he linked himself to the
Philadelphia Eagles as a free agent in 1995.With the Eagles, he was able to launch himself as a dynamic player. The team was able to make it to the 1995 and 1996 playoffs. Ricky waters then joined the
Seattle Seahawks in 1998. He retired in 2001. He has posted a total of ninety one touchdowns in his entire football career. In the NFL Top 10, he ranked number seven out of the top ten players in the Pro Football Hall of Fame that are yet to be inducted.

He played 144 games, starting 142 of those. Born in Harrisburg, PA on April 7, 1969, Watters stands 6'1 and weighs 217 lbs. He attended college at Notre Dame. He was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in the 2nd round (45th overall) of the 1991 NFL Draft.
