Major League Baseball player, Ricky Ledee is currently a free agent after he was released by the Oakland Athletics. He was born on November 22, 1973 in Ponce, Puerto Rico.
Ledee was into the Major Leagues in the year 1998 and he played with the New York Yankees. He was able to play 42 games with the Yankees and it was also the time when the team were re-establishing themselves as the dominant and strong team in the American League. Ledee is a left-handed outfielder and he had posted a remarkable eight successive on-bases during the World Series. The New York Yankees then went on to win two amazing championships in the years 1998 and 1999. It was in 2000 season when he was able to bat only a batting average of .241 and he was then traded to the Cleveland Indians.
Ledee then had played for the TexasRangers, Philadelphia Phillies, San Francisco Giants, Los Angeles Dodgers and the New York Mets. He then decided to sign a minor league contract with the Oakland Athletics on February 2, 2007. Ledee, Darryl Strawberry and Jose Vizcaino are said to be the only players to have played in all four New York teams in just one time. The teams that they have played on are the New York Yankees, New York Mets, Los Angeles Dodgers, and the San Francisco Giants.
