Rick Reed (full name: Richard Allen Reed; no nicknames) played pitcher from 1988 until 2003 for the Pittsburgh Pirates, Kansas City Royals, Texas Rangers, Cincinnati Reds, New York Mets and Minnesota Twins. He played for the Pirates from 1988 - 1991, Royals from 1992 - 1993, Rangers from 1993 - 1994, Reds in 1995, Mets from 1997 - 2001 and Twins from 2001 - 2003. Over 15 seasons, he started 245 games, won 93 games, struck out 970 batters, and had a 4.03 ERA. Born on August 16, 1964 in Huntington, WV, Reed stands 6' 0" and weighs 195 lb.
