Rick Paterson (full name: Rick Paterson; no nicknames) played center from 1979 until 1987 for the Chicago Black Hawks and Chicago Blackhawks. He played for the Black Hawks from 1979 - 1986 and Blackhawks in 1987. Over 8 seasons, he played 430 games, scored 50 goals, and made 43 assists. Born in Kingston, Ontario on February 10, 1958, Paterson stands 5-9 and weighs 187 lbs. He was drafted by the Chicago Blackhawks in the 3rd round (46th overall) of the 1978 NHL Amateur Draft.
