Rick Martin (full name: Rick Martin; no nicknames) played left wing from 1972 until 1982 for the Buffalo Sabres and Los Angeles Kings. He played for the Sabres from 1972 - 1981 and Kings from 1981 - 1982. Over 11 seasons, he played 685 games, scored 384 goals, and made 317 assists. Born in Verdun, Quebec on July 26, 1951, Martin stands 5-11 and weighs 179 lbs. He was drafted by the Buffalo Sabres in the 1st round (5th overall) of the 1971 NHL Amateur Draft.
