About Rick Mahorn:
Rick Mahorn (full name: Derrick Allen Mahorn; Rick, Ricky) played Center-Forward from 1981 until 1999 for the Washington Bullets, Detroit Pistons, Philadelphia 76ers and New Jersey Nets. Over 18 seasons, he played 1117 games, scored 7763 points (6.9 ppg) and grabbed 6957 rebounds (6.2 rpg). Mahorn also dished out 1082 assists (1.0 apg), made 633 steals (0.6 spg), and blocked 1007 shots (0.9 bpg) during his career. Born in Hartford, Connecticut on September 21, 1958, Mahorn stands 6-10 and weighs 240 lbs. He attended high school at Weaver in Hartford, Connecticut and college at Hampton University. He was drafted by the Washington Bullets in the 2nd round (12th pick, 35th overall) of the 1980 NBA draft.
