Rick MacLeish (full name: Rick MacLeish; no nicknames) played center from 1971 until 1984 for the Philadelphia Flyers, Hartford Whalers, Pittsburgh Penguins and Detroit Red Wings. He played for the Flyers from 1971 - 1984, Whalers in 1982, Penguins from 1982 - 1983 and Red Wings in 1984. Over 14 seasons, he played 846 games, scored 349 goals, and made 410 assists. Born in Lindsay, Ontario on January 3, 1950, MacLeish stands 5-11 and weighs 185 lbs. He was drafted by the Boston Bruins in the 1st round (4th overall) of the 1970 NHL Amateur Draft.
