About Rick Lanz:
Rick Lanz (full name: Rick Lanz; no nicknames) played defenseman from 1981 until 1992 for the Vancouver Canucks, Toronto Maple Leafs and Chicago Blackhawks. He played for the Canucks from 1981 - 1987, Leafs from 1987 - 1989 and Blackhawks in 1992. Over 10 seasons, he played 569 games, scored 65 goals, and made 221 assists. Born in Karlovy Vary, Czechoslovakia on September 16, 1961, Lanz stands 6-2 and weighs 203 lbs. He was drafted by the Vancouver Canucks in the 1st round (7th overall) of the 1980 NHL Entry Draft.
