Born Richard Francis Cash in St. Louis, Missouri, he is the football player of the National Football League as defensive lineman. He was drafted to the National Football League Draft in 1968 by the Green Bay Packers from the Northeast Missouri University where he played college football. He played as an offensive tackle and a tight end with the Northeast Missouri. When he was cut by the Packers in 1968, he signed up with the Atlanta Falcons and concluded the season with a recorded six tackles. Prior to the start of the 1969 season, he was traded to the Los Angeles Rams and was put on the injured reserve in the year 1971. The following year, he was traded to the New England Patriots together with Fred Dryer. Rick Cash has played a total of 64 games in the football league. Aside from playing in the football league, Rick Cash has also played for the Philadelphia Bell and the San Antonia Wings of the World Football League.
