Rick Adelman (full name: Richard Leonard Adelman; Rick) played Guard from 1969 until 1975 for the San Diego Rockets, Portland Trail Blazers, Chicago Bulls, New Orleans Jazz and Kansas City-Omaha Kings. Over 7 seasons, he played 462 games, scored 3579 points (7.7 ppg) and grabbed 1129 rebounds (2.4 rpg). Adelman also dished out 1606 assists (3.5 apg), made 106 steals (0.2 spg), and blocked 9 shots (0.0 bpg) during his career. Born in Lynwood, California on June 16, 1946, Adelman stands 6-1 and weighs 175 lbs. He attended high school at Saint Pius X in Downey, California and college at Loyola Marymount University. He was drafted by the San Diego Rockets in the 7th round (1st pick, 79th overall) of the 1968 NBA draft.
