Rich Nye (full name: Richard Raymond Nye; no nicknames) played pitcher from 1966 until 1970 for the Chicago Cubs, Montreal Expos and St. Louis Cardinals. He played for the Cubs from 1966 - 1969, Expos in 1970 and Cardinals in 1970. Over 5 seasons, he started 63 games, won 26 games, struck out 267 batters, and had a 3.71 ERA. Born on August 4, 1944 in Oakland, CA, Nye stands 6' 4" and weighs 185 lb. He attended Las Lomas (Las Lomas, CA) high school and was drafted by the Chicago Cubs in the 14th round of the 1966 amateur draft.
