Rich Monteleone (full name: Richard Monteleone; no nicknames) played pitcher from 1987 until 1996 for the Seattle Mariners, California Angels, New York Yankees and San Francisco Giants. He played for the Mariners in 1987, Angels from 1988 - 1996, Yankees from 1990 - 1993 and Giants in 1994. Over 10 seasons, he played games, won 24 games, struck out 212 batters, and had a 3.87 ERA. Born on March 22, 1963 in Tampa, FL, Monteleone stands 6' 2" and weighs 205 lb. He attended Tampa Catholic (Tampa, FL) high school and was drafted by the Detroit Tigers in the 1st round (20th pick) of the 1982 amateur draft.
