Rich Jones (full name: Richard Wesley Jones; Rich, House) played Forward-Center from 1970 until 1977 for the Dallas Chaparrals, Texas Chaparrals, San Antonio Spurs and New York Nets. Over 8 seasons, he played 508 games, scored 7922 points (15.6 ppg) and grabbed 3759 rebounds (7.4 rpg). Jones also dished out 1394 assists (2.7 apg), made 277 steals (0.5 spg), and blocked 77 shots (0.2 bpg) during his career. Born in Memphis, Tennessee on December 27, 1946, Jones stands 6-6 and weighs 220 lbs. He attended high school at Lester in Memphis, Tennessee and college at University of Memphis. He was drafted by the Phoenix Suns in the 5th round (1st pick, 58th overall) of the 1969 NBA draft.
