Reginald “Reggie” Wayne is currently a professional American football player for the Indianapolis Colts of the National Football League. He is from New Orleans, Louisiana and was born on November 17, 1978. He attended the University of Miami and played college football there. He set a school record of 48 receptions as a freshman and 173 career catches. He is tied with Michael Irvin and Lamar Thomas for the university record of posting 20 or more touchdowns in his collegiate career.
He debuted in the NFL as a support to then already star receiver, Marvin Harrison. Wayne was selected by the Colts in the 2001 NFL Draft. In 2003, Wayne became the full time starter for the Colts. The following season, Watters was named “Wild Card Weekend Offensive Player of the Week” in a game against the Denver Broncos. In 2006, Waters was selected to his first Pro Bowl and helped his team defeat the Chicago Bears to win the Super Bowl XLI. In 2007, he led the league in receiving yards and was selected to the Pro Bowl again in both that year and 2008. According to the official NFL website, Wayne has 676 receptions, 9, 393 receiving yards, a receiving average of 13.9, and 63 receiving touchdowns as of week 17 of the 2009 season.
