About Red Kerr:
Red Kerr (full name: John G. Kerr; Johnny, Red) played Center-Forward from 1955 until 1966 for the Syracuse Nationals, Philadelphia 76ers and Baltimore Bullets. Over 12 seasons, he played 905 games, scored 12480 points (13.8 ppg) and grabbed 10092 rebounds (11.2 rpg). Kerr also dished out 2004 assists (2.2 apg), made steals (0.0 spg), and blocked shots (0.0 bpg) during his career. Born in Chicago, Illinois on August 17, 1932, Kerr stood 6-9 and weighed 230 lbs. He attended high school at Tilden in Chicago, Illinois and college at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He was drafted by the Syracuse Nationals in the 1st round (6th pick, 6th overall) of the 1954 NBA draft.
