About Raymond Floyd Memorabilia & Collectibles

American professional golfer, Raymond Floyd had won numerous tournaments at PGA Tour and also in the Champions Tour level. He was born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina on September 4, 1942.
 
Floyd had then established himself on the PGA Tour when he had his first victory during the St. Petersburg Open Invitational in the year 1963. He then went on to win 22 times on tour and had his final win in 1992 when he was 49 years of age. He was then regarded as among the oldest players to have won a PGA Tour event. Among his great accomplishments and wins were in the 1969 and 1982 PGA Championships, 1976 Masters, and also in the 1986 US Open. Floyd is one of the oldest players to win a major. Floyd had successfully won 14 games in 1992 to 2000 and these wins include four senior majors and two Senior Tour Championships.
 
Floyd was also able to win 24 additional tournaments around the world. He was able to win 60 events in all the tours that he had played on. He had played for the US in 8 challenging Ryder Cup teams and became the captain of the team in the year 1989. It was during the PGA Tour in 1983 when Floyd earned the Vardon Trophy. Floyd was then elected to the World Golf Hall of Fame in the year 1989.
