About Raymond Chester Memorabilia & CollectiblesHails from Cambridge, United States, Raymond Tucker Chester had left a mark in the professional football league history with his incredible performances as well as his various contributions in such field. He had been known to be a tight ender since he had started with the Oakland Raiders in the year 1970. He was picked by the said group during an amateur draft of the same year as well. He had stayed for two years in the group and had been leading his team to several successes.
Raymond Chester had also been honing much of his skills since in college. He went to the Morgan State University located at Baltimore, Maryland where he was one of the team’s responsible team leaders. After his stint with the Colts in 1973, Raymond Chester went back to the Raiders in 1978 and had stayed with the team for another three wonderful years. Later on, he hopped again to a different but somehow affiliated with the previous one, the Oakland Invaders.

He played 172 games, starting 93 of those. Born in Cambridge, MD on June 28, 1948, Chester stands 6'3 and weighs 232 lbs. He attended college at Morgan State. He was drafted by the Oakland Raiders in the 1st round (24th overall) of the 1970 NFL Draft. | |||||||||||
