Ray Sheppard (full name: Ray Sheppard; no nicknames) played right wing from 1988 until 2000 for the Buffalo Sabres, New York Rangers, Detroit Red Wings, San Jose Sharks, Florida Panthers and Carolina Hurricanes. He played for the Sabres from 1988 - 1990, Rangers in 1991, Red Wings from 1992 - 1996, Sharks in 1996, Panthers from 1996 - 2000 and Hurricanes from 1998 - 1999. Over 13 seasons, he played 817 games, scored 357 goals, and made 300 assists. Born in Pembroke, Ontario on May 27, 1966, Sheppard stands 6-1 and weighs 195 lbs. He was drafted by the Buffalo Sabres in the 3rd round (60th overall) of the 1984 NHL Entry Draft.
