Ray Sanders (full name: Raymond Floyd Sanders; no nicknames) played first baseman from 1942 until 1949 for the St. Louis Cardinals and Boston Braves. He played for the Cardinals from 1942 - 1945 and Braves from 1946 - 1949. Over 7 seasons, he played 630 games, hit 42 home runs, drove in 321 runs, and stole 8 bases. Born on December 4, 1916 in Bonne Terre, MO (All Transactions), Sanders stood 6' 2" and weighed 185 lb. He attended high school.
