Ray Mueller (full name: Ray Coleman Mueller; Iron Man) played catcher from 1935 until 1951 for the Boston Braves, Boston Bees, Pittsburgh Pirates, Cincinnati Reds and New York Giants. He played for the Braves from 1935 - 1951, Bees from 1936 - 1938, Pirates from 1939 - 1950, Reds from 1943 - 1949 and Giants from 1949 - 1950. Over 14 seasons, he played 985 games, hit 56 home runs, drove in 281 runs, and stole 14 bases. Born on March 8, 1912 in Pittsburg, KS, Mueller stood 5' 9" and weighed 175 lb. He attended high school.
