Ray Lumpp (full name: Raymond G. Lumpp; Ray) played Guard from 1949 until 1953 for the Indianapolis Jets, New York Knickerbockers and Baltimore Bullets. Over 5 seasons, he played 300 games, scored 2462 points (8.2 ppg) and grabbed 391 rebounds (1.3 rpg). Lumpp also dished out 654 assists (2.2 apg), made steals (0.0 spg), and blocked shots (0.0 bpg) during his career. Born in Brooklyn, New York on July 11, 1923, Lumpp stands 6-1 and weighs 178 lbs. He attended high school at Newtown in Elmhurst, New York and college at New York University. He was drafted by the Indianapolis Jets in the 1948 BAA draft.
